Vina Del Rey @ Nexus Bangsar South

There is a wine bar located in Bangsar South’s Nexus Complex named Vina Del Rey. Recently, I had been to Bangsar South’s Nexus Complex recently and I had a pleasant dining experience in Vina Del Rey with my friends. The environment is very nice. It is like a mansion and they have a dining area like a secret garden in front of their bar. The ambient is very romantic and it is really suitable for couple dining.

It serves a variety of wines that come from different countries such as France, Argentina, Chile, New Zealand and many other more. It also served a lot of nice foods inside.

Grill Veggie Board

It combines of grilled zucchini, capsicum, sweet potato, onions, cherry tomatoes, eggplant, and served with a light salad, olives, flavoured butter and baguette. This is quite a light dish as it contains a lot of the vegetables. The vegetables are greatly grilled and grilling did bring out the natural sweetness of the vegetables. When I tasted it, it is quite sweet and tangy in flavor!

Seafood Aglio Olio

I have the Seafood Aglio Olio as my main dish. The spaghetti has prawns, clams and calamari inside. The seafood is fresh and the prawn is quite big in size. The spaghetti is cooked in garlic olive oil and topped with chili flakes. Thus it tastes a little spicy. For those who love spicy, they can just request for more chili flakes from the staffs.

Salmon Fillet

Salmon Fillet being served is the highlight of this meal. The grilled salmon is served with the mashed sweet potatoes, asparagus and mango salsa. The salmon is grilled to perfection and it is so plumped. The asparagus is so fresh and it is so crispy. Their mango salsa is quite unforgettable of its taste. It is a bit spicy and sour. When it pour on the salmon, it makes the grilled salmon perfect. The salmon makes me more appetite stimulated. In my personal opinion, this Salmon Fillet is a must order when you dined in Vina Del Rey. It is a perfect match with wine.
