#theBBP @ The Club, Bukit Utama

1:28 AM

#theBBP is a gastropub style restaurant, serving up tasty, down to earth fare like good old fashioned pork ribs, a wide selection of barbeque meats with mouth-watering sides and finger licking snacks. It is a great place to meet for after-work drinks, with an extensive selection of local and imported beers, which alone would be worth visiting for.

#theBBP stands for high quality meat and offers only the freshest food for a wholesome meal. The #MeatStation gives customers the freedom to handpick their favorite choice of meat to be bearbequed right before their eyes while the #SaladStation allows them the flexibility to produce their own salad.

The interior nicely decorated with cozy feeling. The venue offers both a long balcony with tables and seating creating an oasis to relax and unwind. Don’t forget about their 360 degree bar, you can have your drinks on the bar that make you feel like a home. #theBBP is definitely an ideal venue for special occasions like gathering, company dinner, birthday party and so on.

Great food and drinks aside, #theBBP is also a local favorite as a place to catch sporting events, with major matches being broadcast in the main dining area, as well as on a number of TVs spread throughout the rest of the space.

Other than that, #theBBP are now serving brunch on every weekend from 11am to 3pm. It was great to be invited as one of their guests to try out their brunch. They are serving ala carte brunch like egg benedict, BBP omelette, spicy pork sandwich and so on. And the best thing is you can build your own brunch too by matching your favorite ingredients on your platter.

The chef of #theBBP also present their “One Hot Chick” in the event. Oh gosh! The chicken is on fire! Well, it is on promotion in this month.

Chinese New Year is coming, #theBBP also launched their CNY dishes which is BBP “Chu” Sang and Suckling Pig. Lou Sang nowadays are getting more and more creative. In #theBBP, salmon sashimi are now replaced with pork in the Lao Sang. This is my first time to try pork sang which I think it taste nice also. The BBP “Chu” Sang is served with Jamon Iberico, bacon crackle, crispy pork lard and some other Lou Sang ingredients. Half portion is enough for 5 pax for only Rm49 nett while full portion enough for 10 pax for only Rm88 nett.

If you would like to have their Suckling Pig, you have to make an advance booking. Rm350 nett for one Suckling Pig. The meat is tender and juicy while the skin is crispy! This is just too nice! Don’t let your piggy run away! Book your piggy now before it is too late!
