La Vie En Rose @ Jalan Raja Chulan

Hey Yo! Miss my food post? I am finally back to bring you a fantastic and delicious food post. This time gonna talk about a restaurant called, La Vie En Rose which is a French restaurant serving authentic French cuisine. It is located at Jalan Raja Chulan, Kuala Lumpur.
My
boyfie and I was planning this for a long time ago to celebrate our 5th
year’s anniversary at this restaurant. We think that this restaurant is
romantic enough to celebrate our big day. Based on my research, this restaurant
is a housed in a bungalow built in the mid 20th century on the
gentle incline of a hill.
Now
on to the foods. We ordered mushroom soup as our started, duck leg and lamb
shoulder as our main course. The mushroom soup [RM22] was creamy but the
serving is a little bit too small for us. Well, the Duck leg [RM49] served with the truffle mashed
potato and green beans is a must try
dish as the duck meat was juicy and it was perfectly match with the sweet and
sour sauce. For the truffle mashed potato, it was the best mashed potato that I
ever tried.
Moving on to the Lamb shoulder [RM59],
it was cook perfectly. Chewing the lamb make me felt like I am in heaven! Oh
gosh! Lamb always my favourite! We also ordered a glass of house wine [RM30]. Easy
to drink and paired well with the appetisers. My friend told
me that when dining at this restaurant, must order their wine. We can’t drink
much so we just order a glass of wine. Too bad huh!
In a conclusion, La Vie En Rose is definitely a good place
to date. I felt like I had a few hours trip to France.
