Dream trip To Macau

I had not been to Macau before. I heard
that Macau is the place that has lots of world heritage, entertainment,
shopping and foods. I always hope that I have a chance to travel to Macau. And
now there is a chance for me to realize this dream. Because Macau Government Tourist Office (MGTO) and Nuffnang Malaysia hosted a blog contest to send 3 Nuffnangers with the Most Interesting Blog Posts
to Macau to experience a 3D2N all
expenses paid holiday. Aww! I wish I could win. I would like to travel
to Macau for 3 top reasons.
1. Word
Heritage
Macau
is not a big place but it contains a lot of the world heritages, and The
Historic Centre of Macau was successfully becoming a “UNESCO World Heritage
Site”.
One
of the heritages I known for a long time is the “Ruins of St. Paul’s”. I knew this place from a Hong Kong Drama,
“Return of the Cuckoo” (澳门街).
That time “Chilam (张智霖)”
(best known as Captain Cool) is an actor of this drama, and he sat on the front
steps of the Ruins of St. Paul’s. This made me have an unforgettable impression
on this heritage as its style is so special that mix of the eastern and western
styles.
2. Entertainment
I had
never been to any casino overseas, I still remember last time my boyfie and I
went to Singapore and wish to enter their casino but being refused entry
because we are not 21 yet. Now I am legitimate to enter all the casinos, so I
would like to enter the casinos in Macau as they all are decorated nicely and
each of them have their own architectural style.
3. Food
Portuguese
tart, pork chop bun, double layered steamed milk (双皮炖奶) are the must try local signatures! There are a lot
of places selling these local snacks including Rua de S. Paulo and Avenida de
Almeida Ribeiro (新马路).
The tourists can buy all these snacks and can even buy some packed foods! How I
wish I can have all of them!!!!
Oh no! How I wish I can fly to Macau now.
Hope I have the chance to visit Macau soon. Wait me Macau; I am coming to you
soon! Muah~
